Just as a preface, this is information about my main backup DJ and also someone I refer when I am booked.

Tom and I met through the DJ industry in 1987 and he hired me to DJ at his wedding in 1990. He and I have shared a great relationship since then and was live-on call at the events when Kris and I were expecting births of Katie & Alyssa.

Making the music that makes the party since 1976

I, Thomas McCoy, am the owner operator of McCloud Studios DJ Entertainment Service. Being the son of music educators I started in music in grade school studying Piano, Trumpet, and Baritone horn. I played in all school music organizations through High School, including Concert and Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Dance Band, and Brass Choir. I performed in an R & B Band for four years playing organ, horns, and harmonica.

In 1976 I started utilizing my vast record collection for parties and events where a band was not feasible. As the years progressed and the band dissolved, I found the DJ business to work out well in terms of providing the wide variety and the songs the party guest wanted to hear. This also led to the assembling of a small editing and overdubbing home studio. In 1987, I started sending home studio parody songs to Chicago DJ Jonathon Brandmeier. Johnny B. played these songs, as well as collective effort songs produced by regular, Al Fleischman, on a daily basis. This continued through 1997.

McCloud studios brings over 5000 hours of music on CD and cassette tape to each event. Professional sound equipment provides very filling sound support with constant attention to ambient room levels and crowd preferences. Working the crowd to its maximum enjoyment and party involvement is my goal. I believe the party focus should be on the guests and hosts, not the DJ. I am there to provide the best possible musical environment for this to occur.

For weddings I provide introduction formats, suggested agenda progression and an optimum room setup guide for all to enjoy the evening. I can be reached at (630) 372-8881, e-mail Tom@AspenSound.net or fax at (630) 372-8883.

I wish for you a very enjoyable and memorable party.

Sincerely,

Thomas McCoy
